Programs
At Oil Kings Hockey Club, we offer a range of programs designed to support every stage of a player’s journey—from first-time skaters to competitive athletes. Our offerings include beginner instruction, developmental and recreational play, fast-paced skill formats like 3v3, seasonal tournament opportunities, and traditional youth hockey programs. Each pathway is built to strengthen fundamentals, build confidence, and help athletes grow through teamwork, discipline, and a love of the game.
3v3 Hockey
Fast, energetic, and skill-focused. 3v3 hockey increases puck touches, creativity, and quick decision-making. Smaller teams and shorter shifts mean more ice time, more scoring chances, and faster development.
Tournament Teams
For players ready to challenge themselves, our tournament teams compete across the region against strong competition. Athletes learn to prepare, adapt, and perform under pressure.
Recreational Hockey
Recreational hockey offers flexible, low-pressure opportunities to improve, stay active, and enjoy the game. Players gain experience through regular practice and organized games, without the demands of a travel or elite schedule.
Traditional Youth Ice Hockey
Full-team gameplay with structured coaching, season-long development, and competitive league play. This program focuses on building complete athletes—technical skill, game IQ, conditioning, discipline, and leadership.
Developmental Hockey
Designed for players who are building their skills, our developmental program focuses on core mechanics, game awareness, and confidence. Athletes receive structured coaching to prepare them for higher levels of competitive or recreational play.
Learn to Play
Our Learn to Play program introduces new athletes to the fundamentals of hockey in a fun and supportive setting. Players develop balance, skating, puck control, and teamwork at a comfortable pace designed for beginners.
